We welcome you to the 2019 GINSaigon Conference!
We are honoured to invite you to attend the annual Global Issues Network Saigon (GINSaigon) Conference 2019. This year, the Australian International School, in collaboration with the British International School, will host the event. The conference will be held on the 22nd to the 24th of February 2019 at the Australian International School, Ho Chi Minh City.
The GINSaigon Conference is a great opportunity for students from different schools to come together where they can discuss and debate global issues, as well as create project-based sustainable solutions to them.
The theme of the conference this year is ‘Catalyst for Change’. This is about inspiring individuals to evoke change within their communities. The conference involves:
- TED Talks led by students
- Keynote speakers: who are experts at their field related to addressing and solving global issues
- Workshops that encourage students to engage and create their own projects to solve issues within their community
- Working in GANGs (Global Action Network Groups), which is based on students’ interests in a particular global issue, to share ideas and collaborate in creating solutions
- Participating in a simulation that will emulate a first-hand experience of a major global issue
We anticipate 300 to 350 students to attend the conference this year and therefore we will have to limit the number of participants each school registers to a maximum of 15 students. Participants are required to be 13 years old and over.

It will only confirm your intent to attend the conference and should you do so, we will contact you with further information on the official registration details and deposit.
Please note that this form needs to be submitted by Friday 26th of October.
