ISC School Stay

We are excited to host the first ever GIN South Americas Conference SCHOOL STAY!! The ISC GIN Student Organizers and Planning Team are excited to host all incoming GIN participants on the ISC Campus in the Wildcat Arena.

ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL STAY ON THE ISC CAMPUS FOR THE DURATION OF THE CONFERENCE.

ISC has prepared to host incoming participants beginning on Wednesday night, the 14th of March 2018 through the afternoon of the close of the conference on Saturday March 17th, 2018

Why A School Stay?

Not only does the school stay reduce the total cost of the conference for incoming participants, but it also helps the environment by lowering carbon emissions and not polluting because we have no need for transportation to and from the ISC Campus each day.

How it will work?

Sleeping Arrangements:

GIN Students and staff alike, will have a very welcoming and safe environment that they can enjoy at all times during the conference. We kindly ask for students and teachers to bring their own sleeping bag (as well as any other item) as they will only be provided with a light mattress each. We will be accomodating you in the same space where we plan to have our GIN Project Workshops, skill-based workshops and Global Villages.

Necessary Materials for School Stay:

Pillow

Sleeping bag

Sleeping clothes: Short/long sleeve shirts, sleeping pants (no dresses or shorts)

Flip-flops for the shower

Towels

Necessary Toiletries

Showering:

We will create a GIN participant shower schedule to be sure to accommodate all participant needs.

Meals:

All meals will be staged in central areas.

Where will we put our stuff?

In order to maintain organization, there will be designated places for a teacher’s lounge as well as luggage storage and eating spaces.
