The Purpose of GIN Student Admin Team Slack Communication

The success of the GIN Student Admin Team depends on constant communication with our Team Members from all around the world. Taking into account the global nature of our team, we understand that immediate responses to all Slack messages we send out is not a realistic expectation. We are here to support and empower you, meet you where you are, and problem-solve with you. All communications regarding sensitive decisions that necessitate careful language must be approved by GIN Staff and Youth Director(s) prior to sending the message.

Please check our GIN Student Admin Team Communication page (https://globalissuesnetwork.org/gingap/gap-team-communication) for more information regarding GIN Student Admin expectations for prompt communication.

If you need to download Slack and create a profile, please follow the instructions on this page: https://slack.com/help/articles/218080037-Getting-started-for-new-Slack-users .

If You Require an Alternative GIN Student Admin Team Communication Platform Besides Slack

A GIN Student Team Member who does not have access to Slack will use Gmail as their sole primary method of communication.
