Differentiated Pathways to Support and Collaboration

Pathway 1: If GAs has access to ongoing GIN or Service Learning programs at their school that aligns with GIN ethos and best practices, they will be asked to approach and request to work collaboratively with local clubs and ongoing student-led projects for specific purposes and activities throughout of the GAP Team Process.

Pathway 2: If GAs does not have access to ongoing GIN or Service Learning programs at their school that align with GIN ethos and best practices, they will be paired with a Global Ambassador learning cohort during activities that necessitate dialogue and feedback.

Communication & Collaboration for the Duration of GAP Team Process

How We Will Connect: Skype will be used as the communication tool in all the meetings.

GAP Team Website: GAs will have access to a password-protected GAP Team Platform. The GAP Team Platform will hold internal, organizational resources and materials for GAs to use, test, reiterate and innovate. GAs will be expected to follow GIN protocols when working with this website and its content.

GA Google Drive Folder: Each Global Ambassador will be provided a GIN GAP Google Drive Folder by the GIN GAP Youth Directors for personal use and teamwork. Gmail will serve as the main tool of communication for the program. All tasks and assignments will be sent and communicated through Gmail and Google Drive.

GA Learning Cohorts: An introductory meeting will be held during the beginning of the year and will serve as an opportunity for GAP Team members to meet each other and better understand the structure and aims of the program.

Check-In Meetings: We will organize a check-in meeting during each workbook in order for GAP Team members to detail their progress and receive responses to questions and concerns.

Feedback & Discussion Meeting: A feedback & discussion meeting will take place during the end of each workbook with the purpose of discussing impressions and experiences with the previously tested curriculum and suggesting improvements to it. In this meeting, the GAP Youth Directors will present and discuss insights regarding the direction of the program with the Global Ambassadors Team.
