A little about me:
I’m Luciana Toledo Bohorquez. I study at Santa Cruz Cooperative School in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Im 14 years old and I’m currently in 9th grade. Something about my childhood is that I’ve moved countries constantly when I was a child so that has helped me adapt to different situations as well as learning new cultures and appreciating their beauty. This year my school gave me the opportunity to form part of this program so could improve my skills and grow as a person
How am I empowered by GIN?
Even though my time in GIN has been short it has been an incredible experience, Ive been able to hear many different points of views and rightful ideas. GIN has helped me with countless skills for the short period I have been part of it. It has improved my communication and leadership skills. As well as helping me with my auto criticism and give constructive feedback, so we can all improve together as a team. It has as well helped me adapt to different situations where we as a team need to figure out how to find a better solution.
What am I most proud of accomplishing in GIN?
It’s just astonishing how much change I have made thanks to GIN. GIN has granted me different experiences as well as solving problems as a team despite everything. But my biggest accomplishment in GIN wasn’t a specific project since they all made it change. The biggest change for me was my self growth. GIN has helped me self discovery journey by constantly interacting with new people, finding new ideas in different environments. While constantly having a great environment for sharing ideas. Even though the program seems intimidating (it still does sometimes) it’s still astonishing how warm and welcoming the program can be. So all the experience and my self development are my biggest accomplishment. Since thanks to GIN Im constantly learning new skills, how to improve team work communication and improving my confidence by letting me express my ideas without the fear of being judged but still being able to hear constructive feedback so I can keep on improving.
