“To AISA Colleagues:
I am writing to encourage you to support sending a student delegation to the Global lssues Service Summit in February, hosted by the lnternational School of Kenya. Student leadership and empowerment is becoming a central pillar of most AISA Schools – and this student conference is a perfect opportunity to help student leaders connect!
I anticipate that there may be concern about the proximity of the conference to Kenya’s national election on March 4. ISK is in continuous communication with the security specialists at US, Canadian, EU and UN missions. I would like to reassure you – and
parents at your school – that we expect it to be safe in Nairobi from February 21 to February 23.”
