Registration Steps

Deadline to register is October 17th.

Step 1: Registration Payment

Registration will open by 5:00 pm, Friday, May 8th, 2015. Click HERE to register.

Early bird registration cost by June 5th 2015: $175

Regular registration cost: $200

Each school may send up to four teams of students, and each team may be comprised of 2 to 6 students.  That means each school could send as few as two students or as many as 24! TWO chaperones must accompany each school’s students.

Step 2:  Workshop Registration

You will need to have all the information pertaining to your participating team members and your student project workshops. Workshop information will be published to our website near the start of the conference. You will be able to see all of the projects coming to our conference!

This form will be embedded on a sub-menu tab called “Workshop Form“.

You are required to make a 1 minute film that shows your audience what your project workshop is all about.  Your short film will act as a trailer to your workshop and will be shown as part of our film festival to the whole conference audience prior to your workshop session.

Step 3 (only for traveling attendees): Lodging

One hostel (San Francisco Downtown Hostel) has provided group rates. Schools looking for more privacy have the option to book a room at Hayes Valley Inn, which has reserved a small window for booking.

The last day you will be guaranteed a hotel room is May 15, 2015.

Important Lodging Notes

  • If you are staying at the hotel, we encourage you to reserve your room as soon as possible.

  • Please also clearly state when making your reservation that you are reserving your rooms under the International High School Global Issues Network reservation contract. If you do not specify this you may not get the group room rate we have listed.
