Registration is a two-step process:

Step 1: Conference Registration and Payment

A representative of the school’s team will register online (Eventbrite). Please register students as a group. It’s best if the students’ teacher or youth organization representative completes the registration. On the Eventbrite page, you will order the number of “tickets” that you need for all students in the group. Then you will enter the details for each individual student (see list of required information below). The cost is $5 per student. The fee supports the costs of running a virtual conference. Scholarships are available. Contact Noah Zeichner at nczeichner@seattleschools.org to request a fee waiver. Registration is open through May 25.

You will need the following information to complete the registration process:

  1. Student names
  2. Student email addresses (we recommend that students use personal email addresses so that school district email filters do not block conference communications)
  3. School/organization name
  4. Name of adult advisor
  5. Email of adult advisor
  6. Grade levels

You will be able to copy information between registrations in Eventbrite to save time.

As the event approaches, all attendees will receive an invitation to sign up for Sched.com, our conference app. Students will select the workshops that they want to attend using Sched. Workshop selection will not take place until the week of the conference.

Step 2: Workshop and Film Festival Submission

In mid-May, if your team plans to lead a workshop, you will submit your Workshop Proposal and “Film Festival” video.

  • Workshop Teams are made up of 2-6 students.
  • Teams will create a 1-2 minute video trailer that explains what their workshop is about.
