TCS GIN Timeline

Our Timeline

2011

TCS GIN team went to Lima, Perú to the “Building New Futures By Breaking Old Habits” conference and presented a project related to peace.

2012

TCS GIN team went to Sao Paulo, Brazil to present the ongoing violent situation in Colombia and the eco-bricks initiative.

2013

TCS GIN team presented in the YOUNITY conference in San José, Costa Rica the importance of education, “Computer Programming for the Community” and “Giving is the New Receiving”.

2014

TCS GIN team went to Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic to present the greenhouse project.

2015

TCS GIN team presented at Time to BeGIN conference in Monterrey, México the importance of education.

2016

(March): GIN Medellín → our legendary international conference “Brave Leaders, Bold Choices.”

(October): Now seniors and EmerGINcy core team ( TCS GIN team ) also attended the “helping the world by learning from each other” conference in to Quito, Ecuador and presented the “Accreditation” and “Carbon Team” initiatives. Maria Pia Molina, Juan Felipe Gaviria, and Juan Manuel Rodríguez (members of the team) were invited to be keynote speakers at this conference.

2017

(March): The same team attended PanaGIN in Panamá City, Panamá and presented “Columbus GIN Evolution”, “#rewind” (Carbon Team initiative), “We Are all Guajira” and “Greenhouse: The Dream”. Juan Manuel Rodríguez and María Cuartas were also keynote speakers representing GAP (Global Ambassador Program)

( April ): We hosted a local GIN Conference, MedeGIN.

2018

TCS GIN team went to Breaking Mindsets, Empowering Change in San José, Costa Rica. They presented the “Greenhouse”, “Leadership, Stories and Accreditation” and “WaGIN: We are all Guajira”.

2019

TCS GIN team traveled to Lima, Perú for the first time to the People + Passion = empowerment conference. They presented the “Carbon Team”, “Getting Dirty Will Take Away Your Worries” (Greenhouse), “Leadership” and “WaGIN”. Maria Cuartas, Maria Pia Molina, Andrea Cardona, and Juan Manuel Rodríguez were invited as keynote speakers.

2019 – 2020

The TCS GIN team has been hard at work to make EmerGINcy an epic conference.
