– Welcome to CDS and Opening Words
– Introductions and brief summary of participation in GIN
– Overview of the Conference
– Go over schedule, answer any logistical questions, and discuss feedback as a group.
– A form for Meeting of the Minds feedback and ideas for the future will be distributed.
Goals:
– To improve and problem solve the efficacy and sustainability of GIN
– Follow Rischard’s prescription by creating and supporting Global Issues Networks
– Develop leadership and encourage an authentic learning experience at conference.
– Creating a common roof/collective space on the Global Issues Network website (http://globalissuesnetwork.org/).
