Jared wrote, directed, and produced THE ARTIFICIAL LEAF – a Jury Prize winner in the Focus Forward Filmmaker Competition. The film was 1 of 12 selected to premiere at Sundance alongside shorts by Morgan Spurlock, Alex Gibney, Lucy Walker, Steve James, and Albert Maysles.
He also directed and produced the critically acclaimed shorts MONEY IS MATERIAL & IMPOSSIBLE – both Vimeo Staff Picks.
Jared produced SPLIT: A DEEPER DIVIDE – an exploration of the Divided States of America. The film was broadcasted domestically on The Documentary Channel and over a dozen territories internationally. He was a producer on SPLIT: A DIVIDED AMERICA which won Best Documentary and Audience Favorite awards at festivals nationwide, and was broadcast both domestically (IFC) and abroad.
In broadcast television, Jared is a PROMAX award-nominated producer who directed segments featuring PLANET EARTH’s Alastair Fothergill and Mark Linfied for the launch of BBC EARTH on BBC AMERICA.
In his wilderness years, he produced & directed NACHOS FOR TWO – an on-the-road documentary following the critically acclaimed jam band Umphreys McGee.
