We have successfully served 148 people with disabilities by March of 2017 effectively by organizing fundraisers and creating awareness through several activities off and on campus. By doing this we will achieve are goal, which is to create a more inclusive and accepting society.

Essential Questions:
How can we support burn victims through all the implications of a third degree burn?
Impact Statement:
We have successfully served 3800 people by March 1st using donations and fundraisers as resources to fund the treatments and materials to accomplish our goal of effectively treating and supporting burn victims. The strategies we have used have been the development of extremely profitable fundraisers and extensive volunteer work to ensure the completion of our mission.

How to provide a platform that provides an opportunity for the youth to learn from, share ideas and get inspired by one another?
Impact Statement:
Over the last two years, GIN students at the International School of Curacao have hosted two local GIN conferences thus providing a platfrom for the youth to exchange ideas, inspire and empower each other to become agents of change. Youth from the local schools and service / youth organizations were invited to participate. In addition, the conference was promoted using social media and friends networks.

How simple acts of kindness can create a meanigful difference?
Impact Statement:
We believe small acts of kindness can transform a person’s life. GIN students at the International School of Curacao have executed many projects to make a meaningful difference in our community and in the world. Through simple acts like – Giving away clothes, visiting and caring for the elderly, helping the animal shelter, and combating plastic pollution, we are making our positive impact.

Essential Question:
How can we improve the quality and access to education in a way that is sustainable and enhances global citizenship?
Impact Statement:
The project that has been started almost two years ago has extended until now. During that period, we have successfully served 60 students since we have started the project in September 2015, using technology, children books, advice from teachers, and our experience as_ resources to enhance collaborative strategies, in order to effectively run our project in a way that would encourage a sustainable and enjoyable experience for both the children and us. The children of the school have so far learned specific vocabulary words to 30 topics, such as colors, parts of the house, shape, transportation, introducing oneself, family members, emotions, clothes, and so on. After the science program began, 10 experiments by the students have been successfully carried out.

To what extent does ocean pollution affect us locally and globally?
Impact Statement:
As an organization, our plan is to ensure that babies, including premature, from the Hospital Dr. Mario Catarino Rivas have all their necessities due that the hospital nor parents can give them all of these. In Honduras, many babies are born with poor health conditions, and the fact that most of them don’t have all the medicines or essential things like blankets, diapers and medicines affect their health condition even more.

We aim to serve the people of the El Ceibo community from around April/May to the approximately the end of our senior year using dance and music as our resources to implement a varied dance program in the El Ceibo community, in order to establish a good, sustainable relationship with the youth community and provide them with a fun activity they can look forward to.

How can sexual education improve the overall lifestyle quality of the girls living in poverty in Honduras?
Impact Statement:
We have successfully served 100 girls by March 2017 using personal hygiene products, speaking at seminars on self respect, personal hygiene, self esteem, sexual education, to accomplish our goal of effectively educating girls that they are capable of accomplishing their dreams if they get the proper education instead of engaging in harmful relationships and getting pregnant at a young age.
